irrelevance

sometimes when i try harder than most people i end up with nothing to show for it. this week has been one of those weeks where i thought everything would go my way and all that ended up happening was a lot of disappointment and regret. here is to hard work and feeling unappreciated, thanks for making me feel the irony of life.

frustrated fireworks inside your head

since when did getting old have to be so damn hard? I have not been able to get out of this absolute desolate trend of not doing anything but work, pay bills, and go to family functions. Amanda if you are reading this, I am just plain afraid of calling you again for fear that you will be so upset with me that you won't even want to speak to me after flaking on you not once but twice. I have been too busy to do anything, I promise if you allow me to I will make it up this week i promise.

Anyway..
I have spoke long enough about this the past year and I finally am going to try and actually do it which is SAVE MONEY to buy a house. well actually a condo since a house is just so ridiculously out of reach at the moment. As a start I have given up internet shopping. It has only been three days and I already feel the depression kicking in. At least I have netflix to look forward to...

My mac has finally filled to the brim and I have absolutely zero memory left on my hard drive so that means I have to buy an external hard drive or upgrade to another computer just so I can start making movies and uploading photos again. My nephews fourth birthday is coming up and I wanted to make him a video for him to keep in the future when he is an old bag like me and can look back at his youth on film. I really wish my parents would have filmed more videos of me when I was a child, I don't care if it is narcissistic of me, I truly want to watch myself as a little ratzy singing and dancing away. I only got a camera when I was 16 so I have the past 10 years of my life documented pretty well, but that is about it as far as the youth department goes.

Anyone out there that reads this blog, can you recommend a good video camera? i' m thinking about upgrading that as well....

macaroons

yesterday Davey and I went to a cute little french bakery in newport beach to see what their macaroons were like. We went into this cute little shop that reminded me of being back in Paris...the food looked delicious, everything looked fresh and lastly but most importantly they had quite the assortment of french macaroons! My favorite was the pistachio followed closely by the lemon but Davey really liked the chocolate and the strawberry. Honestly, they were all delicious and I can't wait until we go back again to have lunch. Here are the beautiful macaroons that we brought back to enjoy at home...
